Ruch Autonomii Slaska and German Minority Movement in Upper Silesia to form a coalition
During a meeting of their executives held on January 10th in Raciborz (Upper Silesia) representatives of the Silesian Autonomy Movement (Ruch Autonomii Slaska) and the German Minority Movement in Upper Silesia (TSKN) decided to register joint lists of candidates in this year local and regional elections. Both movements agreed to form a coalition which may attract a large number of voters and help ethnic Silesians and Silesian Germans supporting the idea of political autonomy of Upper Silesia to be represented in a regional assembly and to enlarge a number of local coucillors.
The name of the coalition will be declared within next few weeks.
